The Schutt Sports F7 LX1 Youth Football Helmet comes standard with a carbon steel guard and a black soft-cup chinstrap. The most advanced impact absorption system in football, TPU (thermoplastic urethane) Cushioning, is used in this helmet. TPU Cushioning has been proven to absorb more impact across a wider range of temperatures than any other helmet on the field.

The Helmet's design features 3-Dimensional Movement Tektonic Plates, which are strategically located in the most impacted areas of the helmet. These Tektonic Plates incorporate an additional TPU Cushion and move independently of the helmet in multiple directions, improving the helmet's performance against rotational forces.

The Helmet Stabilization System (HSS) incorporates a larger, more comfortable jaw pad configuration and utilizes both internal and external stabilizers made of high-performance impact foam, which is wrapped in soft, durable, and comfortable synthetic leather. The HSS frames the wearer's face and provides a secure, "locked-in" feel inside the helmet.

The Multi-Layer, Integrated Liner System features a non-inflatable lateral air liner, a non-inflatable Comfort Fit Liner in the crown, and the Radial Diffusion System (RDS) liner.
